Day Zero Project

My Day Zero Project!

I'm not sure if you've heard of this but I love it! I never get bored anymore, because if I am, I look at my list and try to mark something off.  Basically, this is where you make a list of 101 things you want to do in the next 1001 days (that's about 2 and a half years...so be creative!).  I've complete about 7 of mine so far and it is so fun! When I complete a task I will post it here and what I did.  Thanks so much for looking!

Completed Goals!
Goal 9: Inspire someone to make a 101/1001 list.
After making mine, I instantly told my friend! She loved the idea and made her own.

Goal 12: Send 5 cards out before the end of my 2012 Spring Semester.
I have always wanted to do this. I personally love receiving things in the mail (probably why I'm always buying things on ebay..haha)  I sent one to each of my parents and the rest to my friends who are also in college.  It felt so great to be able to tell them all what they truly mean to me.

Goal 22: Make something for a friend.
Remember that Painted Canvas Toilet Paper Art.. Yeahhh I made that for my best friend Blair for her birthday. :) Even though it's hard to part with my projects, I love the look on my friends faces when they receive them.  It makes it all worth it.

Goal 23: Make a new friend.
My friend Amy and I went to an LSU basketball game with her boyfriend and we sat with some of his friends.  I got to meet some really cool people. Totally worth it.

Goal 33: Eat breakfast for dinner.
After making this goal.. I realize I do this quite a lot. So, this was not a very difficult goal. I've eaten omelets, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal.. etc. for breakfast since the list has been made.. awesome!

Goal 48: Go for a run in the rain.
This was a COMPLETELY unexpected goal to achieve.  My friend and I went ahead and decided to go get some fresh air.. go on a walk to the union on campus.. Little did we know that a freakin MONSOON was coming. We get in the union to take some pictures for my friend's english class.  We go to leave and BAM monsoon.  We debated about ten minutes, checked the weather. It wasn't gonna stop for hours. SO, we decided to take our chances. I have never been so wet on dry land in my life. Seriously felt like I was swimming.  BUT, that run back to our apartment was amazing, so fun.  I will never forget that. GOAL ACHIEVED!

Goal 72: Have an hour long phone call with someone.
Unexpectedly, my friend Blair and I stay on the phone for about two hours before I realized.  We hadn't talked for that long in a while, but it was definitely worth it.

Goal 92: Make an omelet.
You may think this is a silly goal, BUT I've always wanted to do this! And, yes, I am twenty years old and I still hadn't tried to make one.  It was so fun to flip! And super yummy!  Great goal! Since the list was made, I've made two omelets.  LOVE THEM. haha.

In Progress Goals..
Goal 21: Get a 4.0 for a semester in college.
I'm trying for it this spring semester... Hope it happens...

Goal 28: Watch 26 movies I have never seen starting with each letter of the alphabet.
This is BY FAR the most fun goal so far. I've watched about 7 so far.  Watched Inception today!

Goal 44: Give up chocolate for a month.
Started on February 6th... I CAN DO THIS. :P

Goal 46: Make a workout routine and stick to it.
SO HARD.

Goal 55: Save $1 for every task completed.
I'll be 101 dollars richer by the end of this. ha

Goal 64: Read the Hunger Games series.
Half way through the first one!

Goal 79: Do the 200 sit-ups challenge.
boom. roasted.
